also got Georgia's best receiver, Jermaine Burton, through the transfer portal. They took all of these riches and parlayed them into a loss to Tennessee, a loss to LSU, and never even made it to the SEC Championship, let alone the playoffs.
Georgia lost Jermaine Burton, lost the entire defense to the NFL, and with a walk-on at QB went undefeated and won the national title game in the biggest blowout in the history of the college bowl system.
Let's not forget this.

My son has gotten bigger and stronger than me, and I would not want to mess with him. At all.
So, "daddy", I suspect right now Alabama is learning that Georgia has gotten bigger, stronger and better than "daddy". You might (probably) win the occasional game, but the son has outgrown "daddy" and the sooner you realize this the better and less embarrassing it will be for you.

I don't laugh because we're better than Alabama. I laugh because a certain person said the reason he transferred is because they were a better passing team than us and a little more explosive. Then our no name "game manager" threw for two yards less per game than their Heisman winner and our three star no name WR, whose only other div. 1 offer came from Vandy, had a better year than Burton. Can't even make it up.

Can't argue with your point. It comes down to having good, not great, on either line. The offensive line really suffered under Doug Marrone. I think that's being corrected but may take another year.
