I like Chubb and think he’s s great example of perseverance and doing things the right way. I was also bummed when he chose UGA over Bama.

However, he’s no Bo Jackson. Bo was a 1-man show and elevated his otherwise largely mediocre AU teams. Chubb gets his numbers, but he’s not a game-changer. Had Bo not neen on his AU teams, theiy would have been devestated. UGA has done fine when Chubb has gone down.

So let’s not get too wrapped up in this debate, because there really is no debate. Chubb is a fantastic back, but Bo was GOAT.

I say this as an avid hater of Auburn football.

I want you to understand that I think Bo was a better back, but...

Or they’d have won 9 games and finished in the top 20...

Bo is, based on the eye test, the second best back in SEC history. Chubb is still playing and could add to his legacy, but he will likely end up the second best back in SEC history based on yardage and damn close to Bo in terms of YPC.

"Chubb is not a game changer. "

So he's about to pass Bo Jackson for most yards in career but he doesn't affect games at at all.

Terrible take, guy.

Dopey Georgia fans think Chubb will be in the same conversation as #1 Bo Jackson or even their own #2 Herschel Walker. Not happening! #DSOR

Georgia loses Gurley and Marshall to injury or autographs can't remember.... true freshman Chubb gets his first start on the road and carries the ball 38 times for 143 yards and 4 receptions for 31 yards and he isn't a game changer!?!?!? What legendary running back in alabama's history compares to Jackson or walker anyways ?

How many years do you think Bo played?

And due to injuries they have both played in 41 games.

Who’s been saying NC was better than Bo??

HW and BO discussion is warranted because they played in same era.

NC is great , but he’s not either one; nor is any other back since those 2.

No. Bo played 4 years, just like Chubb. Bo was there got 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1985. Herschel is the one that left after 3 years, not Bo.

Bo is my 2nd favorite all time back, just behind Herschel, but Chubb is probably #3 on my personal list.

Both Chubb and Bo are/were exceptional RB's. Bo seems to be on a plane with or close to Herschel, though.

Bo might know, but apparently you don't.

The barn had Fullwood behind Bo, and Agee was pretty good but more of a FB.

Chubb is no Bo.

Still rather have Herschel than Bo.

A lot of Georgia fans have been talking about how Chubb is 12 yards short of passing Bo Jackson in all time yards, and would do so in the first quarter of our game today at Auburn. People are thinking they are saying Chubb is better than Bo, which isn't REALLY what they are saying.....but.....

Played half his freshman year after we lost Gurley and Marshall
Injured a few games into his sophomore year and missed most of the season
Was never full speed as a junior and it definitely hurt the team, but now Sony is a better back because of it
Senior year 99.9% back to true form but sharing the carried a lot more.

I guess Bama has never had a great RB.

But if never having an all-time great RB means getting more of those nattys, I’m for it.

A lot of people are forgetting that Bo played in the wishbone at least part of the time....maybe all the time? I can't remember.

1. Who said that?
2. How many of Alabama's RB's have won Heisman's?

Dopey Auburn poster is in a conversation of Chubb, Walker and Bo Jackson and apparently does not realize it.
