Leipold to Auburn??

Leipold turned Buffalo around, going 35-33 with a 10 win season in 2018.
Beating WV and Houston already is a ridiculous turn around.
He'll be a hot commodity no matter what KU does from here on out.
Imagine KU making a bowl game.

I think he’s a great coach. My one concern is that a historic top 20 program and the worst team in Power-5 the past 15 years are very different jobs that require different approaches.

Dude was born in Johnson’s Creek, Wisconsin. Auburn hates Northern Yankees. Look how Harsin has been treated and he’s from the rural areas in the Pacific Northwest, with guns, bibles and fishing. Leipold should run away from that sinking ship

Pawwwl is simply stating who the big booster wants and who it will be. The short version is the big booster wanted Freeze but AD bucked him and hired Harsin. The AD is now gone, Harsin will be gone within days and the booster will hire Freeze.

Building programs up is his niche. It wasn’t for Les because he’s more of a maintainer.
I don’t see him wanting to go to a crazy school that fires people a year into the job, with over $10 million in buyouts, etc.
Kansas is more sane; most sane people don’t want to go to the ghettolicious not so Great Plains.

We had a similar problem until one day Mal Moore sat them down and said, "Look Nick has agreed to be our coach but only if you guys back the f@ck off". And son of a bitch, they backed off.

Hard to see who wants to walk into that Auburn job.
Would need some iron-clad guarantees that I wouldn’t be pressured/ hazed, etc. and was able to get my system going.

I hated when Mangino was fired. He got them into the freakin Orange Bowl. Never been the same since then
