Hoping the Max Johnson becomes as or better than expected, but my question is this... has the SEC had a better lefty in regards to velocity, delivery and accuracy than Tua during his time at a1abama?

Hope the kid has a great NFL career.

Kenny Stabler, maybe? Not sure of other lefties. Tua was good, though.

Velocity I'd put the Hefty Lefty against any of them.

I remember David Greene at UGA used to be damn good.

Greene was excellent, but not as good as Tua. Greene's intangibles were off the charts, though.

ETA
I had forgotten that he was lefthanded.

Wasn’t Fran Tarkington a leftie?

Better? I don't know, but Greene, Lorenzen, Shula, Stabler, and Tebow all had success as left-handers.

Might be hard to top Stabler on this list though, as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, four-time Pro Bowl, two-time All-Pro, etc.

He was right handed. I thought he was, but you got me to thinking and I had to check.

The Snake was good, for sure. He could lead a come back better than anybody else in those days.

Tebow was good but man, those mechanics sucked. I'm not young but even i don't remember Stabler in college, LOL, so I'll take the enders word.

I don't remember him in college, but I do remember him from the pros. I am guessing he was really good in college.

Rick Clausen How many former SEC starting QBs could put so much air under a 30 yard pass.

We need more lefty QB’s. I’m a lefty and it’s not great watching pretty much every single QB with success be right handed

Mechanics aside, Tebow’s stats as a passer at UF were ridiculous. Slow delivery but he was accurate as hell. Can’t speak for his NFL tenure ha.
