Some guys aren't cut out to be head coaches.

He's going to do really well as OC at Oregon.

I’ll give Moorhead the benefit of the doubt as an X’s and O’s guy, but the guy couldn’t handle the responsibility of being a HC. Those experiences are usually a coin flip when you hire a first time guy, especially in the SEC.

I could say the same about Chad. Dumb hire.

I was wrong about Moorhead. I thought he would have a really strong first year and then settle in to a success level similar to what Mullen did. By the middle of his second season it was apparent that the program was going downhill in a hurry. For whatever reason his system was just a complete and total failure, in spite of having a quality crop of talent to work with.

On paper in December 2017 it seemed like an impressive hire and a pretty good fit. Sometimes things just don't go as well as you'd expect them to.

Missouri got one of his coaches that helped him get the OL to open up the running game! Thank you MSU AD for firing the HC because the OL coach would've stayed there. Also he didn't accepted the job at Missouri until the new HC was announced. Leach doesn't put much used for OL blocking for the running game.

I don't think he was really that terrible of a coach, he was just an awful fit there. I can't help but to stare at the off center eye everytime i see a photo

I think he was certainly in over his head and should have never went. I think he went there to get away from Franklin. Pretty sure there was drama at PSU.

Moorhead was in over his head.
He will be a successful head coach one day, but that day was not at Mississippi State in 2018.

What's your ring size?

I assume he sent everyone at least a ring pop
