Over the last decade, A&M has come a long way. In ways good and bad, we’re very different from the little military cow college too small for big out of conference schools to agree to play us in College Station.
I remember, as a kid, getting free tickets from Dairy Queen and sitting in the horseshoe section. Can’t do that anymore!

Auburn is poorer than LSU, that’s just sad.

I’m surprised Tenn is that low, too.

What AU does is amazing. 20k undergrad and only 1.5 schools to support. The rest of you needs to pick up the slack.

Not bad for having smaller facilities than the teams higher on the list.
Congrats to the non-poors.
I think you forgot a "1" in front of the "9". Sure that's a typo.

So Texas spent over $214 mil but only profited about $7.8 mil. Jeez.

Texas aTm #1 in money but last in production! Money means nothing unless you make something happen with it.
Too bad the desperation pay out to Jimbo can help a bit but it won’t be much

You have a point, but you don’t help yourself by exaggerating. First, this is all AD spending, and we trail only Florida in SEC championships since we’ve been in the conference. Second, even only considering football, we’re obviously not “last in production.” We’ve been middle of the road. We hope to improve, and we’re investing in it.

You people were literally begging for LSU to do this.

They know that. But would you please quit bringing it up? They’re trying hard to forget it.

That’s really not true. It’s not like we’re talking about buying stocks here. We don’t care if our teams make money, we want them to win championships, and money matters a great deal in doing that. It’s both an indication of the support of their fan base and an indication of the resources they have to get the things they need to win.

It’s only a matter of time before the Aggies start seeing the fruits of all this spending
The SEC West had better be afraid. Very afraid.

don't you guys have like 300mm in bonds for your stadium outstanding... might be tough to pay interest on that when you guys start going 2-10 and people stop showing up. Hopefully you guys have some 10 year contracts on your corporate suites to manage the cashflow a little better
yes i purposely cast out some bait so someone would bite.
ain't nobody goin broke anytime soon IMO in the SEC even Poor ole mizzou
