Figured. Hopefully we have at least a couple SEC teams do well. They it looks right now Bama and Arky are our only hope.

I hope Arkansas realizes they aren’t going to get these calls in the tournament. This isn’t a strike against Arkansas, it’s a strike against SEC refs. They are what’s holding SEC basketball back.

We are playing the most unwatchable basketball I have seen in 20 years. We had a team almost exactly like this in 2001. Had a couple draft picks including a lottery pick and went 8-8 in the SEC and lost in the 8/9 game.
No showed for weeks at a time and played an unwatchable brand of basketball.

The benefit of getting red hot at the right time.
Now for the overall body of work for the season, yes, Bama absolutely deserves to be a 2 seed. Arkansas, meanwhile, was looking at a possible play in game not that long ago.
Fortunately Muss finally got things going just the way he wanted and we went off on an absolute tear through the second half of the SEC season.
I do think Alabama and Arkansas need to win a game or two in the SEC tourney. The Hogs want to stay hot and keep that profile high. Bama has been a bit flat of late and could use a game where they demolish someone to get their mojo back.

Bama’s offense has struggled as most of the better shooters just aren’t making shots right now. It’s got to be in their head, because they did shoot well for an entire month.
Maybe they will get hot in the sec tourney or first round of NCAA

Arky plays extremely well at home and all of Bama’s losses since OKL are away. Bama did struggle in OOC neutral sites at the beginning of the year, but who knows how these teams will play in the SEC and NCAA tourneys on neutral floors.

Provided Bama doesn't collapse the rest of the season, I don't see them dropping below a 2.
Arkansas could rise as high as a 2 if they win out IMO, meaning win out regular season, and win the SEC tournament.

Honestly Arky could reach a 1 seed if they win out. Ohio State will likely lose to Michigan in the B1G tournament. They recently lost to a mediocre Michigan State team. Arky has to stay hot though.

Texas being on the 4 seed line is atrocious.
