2022: Georgia (Jan. 11th - Final Poll from 2021 season)
2021: Alabama (Dec. 5th)
2020: LSU (Jan. 14th - Final Poll from 2019 season)
2014: Mississippi State
2010: Auburn
2009: Florida
2007: Missouri*
1998: Tennessee
1965: Arkansas*
1964: Ole Miss
1957: Texas A&M*

* Not an SEC member at the time of last #1 AP ranking

N/A: South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Kentucky

Former SEC members Tulane, Georgia Tech, and Sewanee have never been ranked #1 in any weekly AP poll.

Thought it was wrong about GA Tech, but you're right... they got to #2 in 1952 and 1990, with 1990 being a national title in the Coaches' Poll. Never passed #2 either time.
