Lane Kiffin's comments were very fake. He knew they did very well to stay with Bama. Kiffin is still Kiffin. He is not motivated and not dedicated to doing anything other than making himself look good. Believe me, deep down he is very happy with the moral victory. Saban is never going to say anything negative about anyone even if they're a complete pos. Sure, it could be fun to have Kiffin at LSU but ultimately he is not someone you would wanting leading your team year after year if you have expectations of being a major program.

No doubt Lane could win a Natty at LSU.

Kiffin will end up being a solid hire for Ole Miss. He's one of the best versions of himself.

It’s disingenuous, and all coach speak. He was ecstatic that he didn’t get his doors blown off by 30. He is so full of shite. He has to say all that to the media, so that he can look like a serious badass.

If he pulls magic at Ole Miss, he is the guy to follow Saban at Bama. Heard it here first.

Last night your slaw drinking coach said the defense he has this year is better now that at any point last season. That was after the SEC East’s second worst team blew the doors off your defense.
Let’s talk more about coaches being full of shite.

Won’t happen, because if he accomplished anything short of what Saban has then he would be still be in Saban’s shadow. Lane wants nothing to do with trying to be someone else (i.e. Saban 2.0). Seems like he wants to build his own legacy on his terms at his own place. Maybe it won’t ultimately end up being OM, but no way in hell is he following Saban.

I just told the players don’t be happy,” Kiffin said. “Fans were (giving) a standing ovation while we were walking off, and I was very confused with that
That’s exactly what you have been doing
It took Lane to point out this loser mentality for you to finally get why YAOM.

Are you psychic? You seem to know an awful lot about stuff you don’t know...

That's awesome. Spurrier used to say the same thing at South Carolina during his early years here. Kiffin definitely has the right mindset.

I think he doesn’t want to be seen as that guys that jumps around. He did it at Tenn. I think he will be at least 5 years in Oxford. At that point he would have OM rolling. Why would he go to a rebuild at LSU? Alabama, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio St, yeah maybe. Not LSU
Kiffin's an entitled football rat. He's grown exponentially, and I think the SEC bug has bitten him. He'll leave for Alabama, if he leaves Ole Miss.

Search the Merlins would never leave state posts from back when, should be able to get the bullet points out with a simple replace Freshwater with Merlins and OM with state.

Nobody has said he will never leave. Just not in 1-2 years
