If he didn't play in second half.

"Tua had outplayed Hurts all season in practice. Tua thought he deserved a chance to play based on out playing Hurts in practice. If he doesn't get in the game last night he would have likely transferred."

Clearly Tua is on another level - another universe than Hurts. I don't blame him for thinking of transferring.

The question is what was CNS thinking letting an inept QB start in front of the most pure passer Bama has ever had.

damn, that's some heavy stuff. Now Jalen will transfer and Tua will likely be a Heisman contender in the coming years. He is very good.

frick.

I dream of a world without Nick Saban in college football. His dominance has broken my love for college football.

The answer is clear. Late in the game, Tua screwed up clock management when Saban wanted to run another play. If they'd run that play, perhaps they get closer and make that last FG in regulation. So, who did Saban put in - Hurts.

Hurts is a good QB and Kiffin is 100% correct when he says that last year, the last time Hurts touched the ball, he put it in the end zone and put Bama in front of Clemson. He's not as good of a passer but he's as good or better running the football, compared to Tua. And he's clearly a team player and a solid dude. People need to stop riding him so much.

The mistake Bama made this year was not playing Tua in the manner Tebow was played during his freshman year. That would have been the best way to handle it. Had they done that, I think Bama goes wire to wire and beats the hell out of everyone.

And before the game Kiffen tweetd out that Hurts was the qb that could win the game for Bama.

Funny how post-Iron Bowl Bama fans are asking this question daily.... yet if anyone else pointed out Jalen Hurt's faults prior to him losing to Auburn, Bama fans would quickly point to his record and act as if people were crazy for thinking Jalen Hurts wasn't capable.

I think Lane is a liar. But I don't have much to base that on

Looks like he was thinking he knew how to win another natty.

Probably the best setup of a rope-a-dope I have seen in my lifetime.

Kiffin is an imbecile. He has no connections to the inside of our program as he burned those bridges. He has no idea what he's talking about, he just throws anything out there to get attention. So glad Saban fired his sorry @ss.

Didn't Kiffin defend Hurts last week on Sportscenter?

Kinda talking out of both sides of his mouth, isn't he?

Guess I am one of the few who thought Kiffin MIGHT be a good replacement for Saban, especially if he left right now, but geez this guy seems to tweet and talk about Bama, players and coaches more than his own team. Kinda weird

Treated like shite all year long just to be asked to pull the team out of Jalens mess in the 2nd half of the most important game of the year.
