What a ridiculous athlete. This isn't fair.

Pitts should be the first "WR" taken in the draft. That is basically what he is

I’ve always thought taking a TE early is stupid because most of the good TEs in the NFL were late rounders or Undrafted.

But Pitts is different, I would put money on him becoming the greatest TE of all time.

Well that seems a bit premature

I’m not saying I think he is going to be the greatest TE of all time. I’m saying if they hypothetically released odds for Kyle Pitts becoming the greatest TE of all time, I would put money on him.

Do you understand now? Good

Is he even a TE in all reality though?

This guy isn’t online blocking with any regularity or able to consistently seal a corner when needed against an OLB.

These receiver only TEs need to be a separate position.

I’m not taking anything away from his potential as a pass catcher, I’m just saying he has more in common with with Julio Jones than Jason Witten IMO.

The position and how its utilized has changed a lot too though

Kyle Pitts could literally be the best TE ever IF he goes to a system that uses him like the Patriots, or Saints.

OJ Howard is the only TE I can think of recently that resembled Pitts as far as athleticism and he rarely gets used.

That’s nasty. I could see him in Cincinnati.

I kept hearing people question Fields' time yesterday and that 40 times are suspect this year because they aren't all running them under the same conditions like a combine. Different surfaces, most are hand timed, etc... I suspect Pitts and everybody else who runs a good time has to hear this too.

Cincy would use him too! They had a guy for a few years that they used a lot.

I'm skeptical of university sponsored pro day 40 times. Hes probably closer to a 4.5.

He would be a perfect fit for Sean Payton's offense.

Yes

Teams normally keep a blocking TE and Receiving TE on their rosters. As you mentioned they need to able to pick up blitz occasionally pin the Mike or Will linebackers to allow outside running plays to develop.

Sean Payton is a master at using the tight end, much like Andy Reid.

Jared Cook could've been that guy but had far too many key drops and fumbles.

Look at Jimmy Graham while he was with the Saints vs his time elsewhere.

I bet you didn’t watch any of Kyle Pitts blocking highlights from last year

This narrative basically started from Miami fans who claimed Brevin Jordan is better than Pitts LOL
