I'm sick of this phrase. Prior to the season players were given the choice to 'opt out' over fear due to coronavirus and health related concerns.
Once the season for underway you aren't opting out, you're quitting. Fournette started a trend that sadly isn't going away unless something is done about it

All the idiots assumed Florida wasn’t going to accept a bowl invitation. It was obvious to me Pitts wouldn’t play in the bowl. This is the same guy who sat out of their two preseason scrimmages and the LSU game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Toney doesn’t play either.

Coaching, and decision making and being loyal to Todd Grantham are the bigger issues.
Florida won’t be as explosive next year, but they will be much more balanced especially with a QB that can run.
