I didn't say you said there was an AD on the court did I?
The one and done strategy cannot be sustained year after year IMO. You need some experienced guards at some point.

Good win last night for the swamp lizards, didn't think it would get that bad.

As long as we're clear.

Which is why he brought in Mays, who I like quite a bit actually. I think he was also hoping to get more out of Hood too. I won't draw the conclusion that it can't be sustained when he has his first in a few PGs that may not pan out this season. I think like any team you have to have solid PG play to get it done. That can be said for a veteran team or an inexperienced team. Your own squad with Walker is probably a good example of it on a non-all freshman team.

I think the "experienced guard" is a bit overplayed. Kids are playing top-flight talent in AAU. It's not the same game it was 20 years ago.
There will be a couple of teams that do well in the tournament because of experience. But it doesn't mean you have to have a senior guard to win. It just takes talent and coaching. Kentucky has plenty of both.
Now you do need good guards. We'll see if KY has those.

Really? You mean like all the other teams in November the last 15 seasons?
Of course you also thought Anthony Davis was going to be shite and that you would sweep Kentucky last season with those "rent a teams" so forgive me if I don't exactly value your opinion either.
LINK????
KY looked like chit, sorry but is true. No leadership.
And did you even watch the Florida game? What does ND have that could have stopped us? I'll hang up and listen.

Name me another team that has beaten Notre Dame at home in November in the last 15 seasons no matter the caliber or the ranking. I'll hang up and listen as well.

Walker was the best midget SG playing PG in the history of midgets SG playing PG. Fact.
He won a lot of games for us. He was just too erratic because he wasn't a true PG.
I loved the little feller as maddening as he was.

How about your name me the team that looks like Florida that has played at ND early in the season in the past 15 yrs? Florida has EXPERIENCED seniors, that has played in three tournaments, and have gone to elite 8s two years in a row. They have played in plenty of tough places, and we have a lot more talent than ND. We would have taken care of business with defense ONLY.
If you think Florida would have laid an egg like KY did yesterday, you are incapable of objective analysis.

This is true. I never said he was bad, but when he just had too much shooting guard in him. I don't think there was a shot he didn't like. Or a taco.

Notre Dame has won 40+ games at home (42-1 I believe). In the Big East. Syracuse (who beat you), Louisville (who has had a Final Four since you and beat you last season to get there), UConn (who has won a NC since you), and others have dropped big games in South Bend in that stretch. Are those enough teams for you?
I mean the stats back my argument up. The transitive property doesn't work in sports either.
That's not to say Florida couldn't beat them but you're talking out of your arse if you think it's somewhere you'd cakewalk. But color me not shocked that you're talking out of your arse. Again.

By how much did ND lose to Mizzou last year? 30 or 40 points? Maybe 50?
I forget...but we curbstomped them.

Not in November in South Bend. Which is the whole situation around this argument.

Shhh. Logic and statistics has no place here apparently.

Don't feed the Big12 cast off trolls. They talked the same shite prior to basketball season.
Nofolkin' way they back it up in basketball either.

Stats back your argument out? LOL, you mean pointing out past history "backs" your argument. What has happened in the past has nothing to do what would happen to ND if yesterday it would have played Florida rather than KY. I would like you to point out, the favorable match up that ND would have in this match, other than it has won at home in the past, that is all. But you can't do that can you?
And if anyone is talking out of their arse, is you. You are just blah, blah, blah, I say so, history say, blah, blah, blah, and have not pointed out a coherent reason why Florida would not beat ND right now, at their place. No argument. Just blah, blah, blah, but you said, but you said, blah, blah, blah. So this is a waste of time for me, but thanks for playing.
And now I got to play tennis, thanks for being KY dumb, it has made my morning.

Since when did win/loss records in a revenue no longer become stats? Did I miss that memo somewhere?

Cooley is one of the better post players in the country. If we're learned anything about your "experienced" Gators, it's that Patric Young can be soft at times against low post bangers. You're pretty woeful in distributing the ball (something like 142nd in the country in assists) and Notre Dame did a good job of manning up and cutting off the passing lanes last night. I think you would've had a tough time running your offense against them. Especially on the road in a venue that they just don't lose in very often.
Would you like me to continue?

Do us all a favor and stick to it. Most of the females around here can talk sports pretty well. I'd rather you not dumb us down. Thanks.
