Tailgates and pep rallies on the Quad are school sponsored events so you don't need a permit for those things. The "Harlem Shake" fail from yesterday afternoon was organized by a student. When I was Vice-President of the Residence Hall Association we had to petition UA for a permit to do things on the Quad.

Anything at the University of Alabama that involves gatherings of large groups of people referencing "Harlem" will be met with swift and violent force by people in uniform.

Frickin' outbursts like these, that block the entrance to the library, should be outlawed everywhere.
Who knows, had the Fab Four been able to gain entrance to the library to study, maybe they wouldn't have gone out on their robbin'and arse-kicking spree.

I guess this means online courses are not part of the process. That way they would not have to go to the library
