He's been at UGA as HC now for 7 years.

Does this blow anyone else's mind? Time flies. I feel like he was at bama forever and like he just got here.

Yeah man. He’s been here for a second. Hope he doesn’t think about jumping to the NFL.

He was also on LSU's 2004 staff. I was not even aware of him back then obviously. But it's pretty cool to see how certain coaches have risen through the ranks through the years.

I think Kirby is at UGA for life. The only thing that can get him out of there would be some type of scandal.

It's been an incredible run. Can't believe it's been 7 years, either.

He'll be here until he gets tired of the stress and then he'll retire or join the AD or something else.

It would have to be one hell of a scandal.

I doubt he really cares to go to the NFL.

Even if the current climate of NIL and the constant "always working" type of life that plagues current NCAA coaches at a high level gets to him, I doubt he would leave.

Like someone else said, I think he would retire earlier than Saban and take an AD role quicker than he would go to the NFL.

Actually, Kirby was at Bama for 9 seasons…

Kirby was great for us at Bama and I’m happy for him; hope we can whup him next season though. Stetson isn’t eligible for a tenth year, is he? ;)

Funny thing is, he was South Carolina's 1st choice to replace Spurrier in 2015. That's what got the ball rolling for UGA to let Ritch go and hire Kirby before SC could.

Well he was with Saban from 2004-2015 (with the exception of 05) so that is a long time
