Bama fans posting how they won the offseason in recruiting while UGA is going for back to back CFP’s. Not hating or anything Bama can look at them and say that could be us in a couple years but I remember dawg fans would barking every off season how they signed the #1 class while not producing it on the field.

I’d gladly switch places with either.

And soon Bama fans will be switching place with Aggy fans next season after they go 5-7

The #1 class in the new transfer portal age means far less than it used to.
See bama's 2021 #1 class and A&M's #1 2022 class already losing a lot of top 100 players to other teams.

Yea UGA got the last of those classes before all the transfer portal madness which is paying off now, we will see how these things go from now on but A&M’s class isn’t looking so hot now

Nah. UGA should regress back to their mean.
Alabama not being in makes everyone feel like this is an off year, much like 2019.

So how many NC's has uga won. No...be a while before they change places.

They won it in 2020. They won the SEC in 2021 and were a playoff team. They won 10 games (will be 11) and are finishing #1 in recruiting this year. Alabama hasn't gone anywhere yet. Let's talk in two more years.

That almost never happened even when they had coaches not named Saban, Bryan or Stallings.

it's comical how insecure a great many bama fans are, with comments exactly like this. Any teeny, tiny, remote chink in the armor or pointing out of a shortcoming no matter how small, the retort is always "well look how many titles we've won".
UGA won the national title last year by beating bama head to head by 2 touchdowns
UGA has just won the SEC and is on the cusp of winning back to back natties while bama sits at home with multiple losses
Only a complete fool would argue that bama has the better program RIGHT now.

If you need to believe this to feel better about yourself, go for it.

I wish!! UGA has a loooooong way to go, too soon! Bama will be Bama as long as Saban is their.

The #1 class never meant anything by itself... but consecutive top 5 classes still means a lot. UGA's elevation to being a true playoff contended came when they elevated their classes to top 3-5 every year. When you stack those classes up, losing guys to the transfer portal isn't the end of the world.

Are we?
Time will tell. Saban proved the Dabo thing to be fleeting, and he landed multiple NC's. He proved the Urban thing to be fleeting. He proved The Urban 2.0 thing to be fleeting. In fact, he's proven time and again any coach under the "new hotness" banner to be not on his level.
If Kirby continues to terrorize the SEC and country, then fine. He will definitely be getting his chance to do it.
One short year and apparently the OP's memory is shortened.

anyone with sense knows that dabo is a fraud whose entire resume is built on teh back of 2 "generational" QBs almost back to back plus a ridiculously weak conference schedule.

huh?
urban won 2 national titles at florida and beat saban in the playoffs at OSU to win another. I will say, similar to dabo but not quite to that extent, urban (and day for that matter) have benefitted from virtually no in-season conference competition.

the difference is kirby is winning based on a top to bottom system of how he does things. The same way saban has won his entire career. It's not based on just having a #1 draft pick at QB like dabo or having more talent than the rest of your entire conference like ohio state.

Outside of message board trolls you’d be hard pressed to find many Dawg fans who would echo this…

Not a Dabo apologist by any stretch, but they built some filthy DL’s & WR cores to go with those QB’s.

It was a one score game with a minute left and Brooks dropped a TD pass from Bryce a couple of plays before the INT. The game was sealed on the INT which was subsequently returned for a TD making it look worse than it was.
I love how you guys always talking about "dominating" that game while you act like the SECCG where UGA was actually dominated didn't happen.

Cool, and it was a 15 point game with less than a minute left.

Talk about revisionist BS. It was a bad throw. Just happened to be better than the bad INT.

You sound like it’s 2021, but it’s 2022 and GA about to win a 2nd Natty in a row and should be 3 in 6 years if Sony Michael hadn’t gotten hurt
