Kiffin gets new contract. Buyout is only $2,000,000. He may be LSU coach yet.

Why they didn't take a chance on Kiffin rather than O still kind of baffles me.

Dave Aranda will be LSU HC before Kiffin will be.

If Alleva is still AD when Orgeron leaves, I’d say Chris or Monte would be the most likely Kiffins for the job.

Joe Alleva. That's why we didn't take a chance on Kiffin. No need to be baffled.

Just wait, if we lose to Miami, the Kiffin-Fleck-Norval-Aranda talk will start up.

Most LSU fans are out of patience and ready for heads to roll.

Roll Joe Roll. Around the hole and down the bowl, Roll Joe Roll. (Hey, that sounds familiar)

This seems like such an easy decision.

I think he would be the perfect fit at Lsu.

He'll be somebody's coach and a pain in the arse to deal with. Both for opponents (he's a hell of a lot better coach than I thought) and his school @ times. He has had the best experience in America (Dad, Carroll, Saban) plus has the juice on his own.

Offensive genius and a personal beef with Saban.

THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT LSU NEEDS.

I really want him to be head coach.

But I am pretty sure the next AD will be way too worried about promoting from within for a second time and the optics of that move.

Dave is going to be a superstar head coach one day though.

He won't be. Generally speaking, no AD at LSU get's two bites at the apple when it come to football HC hires.

I agree, but you have to give a coach at 3 full seasons. O wasn't my first choice, but he's here. I'm not sure you fire a guy in season two, especially if he's working on a top 10, or top 5 recruiting class for 2019.

2 seasons is just too small a sample size to draw any valuable conclusion.

Didn't this happen months ago? Are the terms just now being released? I'm not trying to say germans or anything I'm just confused because I swore this all already happened
