Yeah - they need to move the tourney to a less violent city; like Memphis.

This. I tusseled with an old man over a baseball at a Fulton-County Stadium Braves game. My old man scolded me for public acceptance but gave me a sly handshake right after the fact. I got that fricking baseball too. Johnny Bench foul ball in 1983 when I was 11.

Oh god, you better hold on, there are like 4 people that are going to rush in this thread acting like Memphis is the safest place theyve ever been.

If they'd get the SEC office out of B'ham, and take the tournament to other places, they wouldn't have those problems. It all goes right back to that.

We used to get pretty intense chasing fouls at Barons games in the Met when I was a kid. I remember seeing one kid my age break his arm when he tripped while racing other kids to a foul ball on the grassy hill area

Is this not a normal thing in non-MLB ball parks?
