He will be a good one with Mullen coaching him

Will he follow to Tennessee?

He’s the best high school football player I’ve ever seen play. He single handily won the state championship game last year and made some of the most unbelievable plays I’ve ever seen

Really?? He's that good, huh??

Yep single handily beat one of the best programs in Louisiana. It was the only time I can ever say one football player won the football game

I don’t think they did. Let another good QB leave the state for a Mississippi school

They did have Brennan though

and Narcisse. I think we wanted a better passer than he has to offer. He’s a great fit for Mullen’s offense though.

Cork arm. Threw for a ton of yards in high school in a quarterback friendly system. Throwing motion almost identical to Jordan Jefferson. Glad we passed

That's the case with a large % of high school games tbh.

yeah, but it's not fair to criticize Jordan Jefferson because Jefferson never played in the correct offense at LSU. He played under Miles who we all know by now was a terrible game coach who ran an outdated style of offense at LSU. He had a kid like Jefferson playing in a pro style offense that mostly ran the football out of the pistol formation which never utilized the talents of Jordan Jefferson. At least State has Thompson in the right offense because it's the offense that Jefferson should have been in at LSU.
Jefferson was good at throwing the deep ball at LSU and completed strikes downfield at times when it was called, but he was no drop back passer. He should have been running the ball out the of the spread and throwing it down field out of it to like Thompson is doing. Personally, I think Jefferson threw the ball better than Thompson.

He can run but his passing ability looks bad. I am surprised Ole hasn’t done a better job stopping the run know that the QB can’t pass.

LSU offered him before they offered Brennan. He didn't jump on it so the staff moved on

I agree with you, his passing is not impressive.
