Kevin Greene - From Walk On to Star Player

Kevin Greene passed away earlier this week and I had no idea he was a walk on at Auburn. He later won SEC Defensive Player of the Year and had a Hall of Fame Pro career.

Louis Oliver was a walk-on from Glades Central? Didn't know that.

He tried to walk on when he first got on campus and Barfield cut him. He tried again a few years later under Dye and made the team.
Pretty remarkable for a guy who made the HOF.

Good guy from Military family. He was a bit undersized out of HS. Would have been recruited otherwise. Made tremendous size and weight gains at AU. RIP Kevin.
