Better put some respect on Wade’s name now before he makes you later
Obviously this was a joke and I understand that Wade and Barnes are the 2 best coaches in the conference. I just didn’t appreciate the subtle insult at our coach by all knowing poster sandy

Lol it was a joke my guy, I was upset at sand suggesting that Kermit was better than wade. For me just based on this year it probably goes something like:
1a. Barnes
1b. Wade
2. Calipari
3. Davis

Ok let’s face facts for a second here. What Will Wade has done for LSU and what Barnes has done for Tennessee are simply way more impressive than Calipari having an expected season with a roster of the best players in the country that he has every year. Calipari got outcoached last night. If we are talking about careers, Calipari is the best in the SEC and it isn’t even close. If we were giving out sec COTY right now it would go to Barnes. If we were giving it out after LSU possibly beat Tennessee, it would go to Will Wade. Calipari is a well sustained coach with an insane resume, but both Wade and Barnes have had far more impressive seasons.

And it’s ridiculous to think that without LSU losing to Tennessee and Kentucky beating Tennessee twice, that Calipari would even be able to pass Wade for SEC COTY

When you're ranked #1 for at least a month this season, VOLS will hold council & consider a 1a/1b scenario. Until then our hands are tied. The Tigers are playing good basketball, but this perch is at capacity & VOLS have a full wingspan.

You are absolutely correct that Tennessee has been the better team this year. I think one of the main things that is overlooked. Is that LSU was 2-16 in conference before Wade took over. I don’t think that kind of improvement can be overlooked when looking at things like this. To me, what Wade has done is more impressive, but Tennessee has been the better team, which is why I had them tied, if that makes any sense. In the end it will come down to the LSU vs Tennessee game for sec COTY.
