Everyone including Kermit knows he is done after this year. It would take him winning the SEC tournament and getting us to the Elite 8 to keep his job at this point

Kennedy and Ole Miss had run their course. Davis was just a bad hire. He's going to finish the season just to reduce the buyout amount. There's not much more damage he can do, frankly.
Kennedy worked his arse off to make Ole Miss a respectable program. Kermit doesn't have any excuses for what's happened.

I think he deserves an honorable retirement at the end of the year. He's a respectful guy and I believe deserves a little respect himself. No need to boot him out at this point when there isn't anything to gain.

Yeah, Kermit wasn't a bad hire. Past his prime, but not bad. Ole Miss is just a bad job, and Kennedy was the best they'll ever do
