Stoops is a better coach than Cal. Not sure why Cal felt the need to take a shot aside from insecurity.

I don’t see why Kentucky keeps Calipari around. Dude is a the basketball equivalent of post 90s Bobby Bowden. Literally done nothing for Kentucky since 2012.

Cal is sore because the fan base is turning to football. They like that the guys are around long enough to get to know them. That we are overachieving based on recruiting numbers and the football team is busting a gut to compete. They have beaten Penn State, Virginia Tech, NC State and Iowa in bowl games while Cal's underachievers lost to St. Peters.
All Cal has to do is win. But the last two seasons have left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. He has lowered his own platform.
Kentucky can be both a football and basketball school, and a rifle school and a volleyball school and a track school. All those other sports have done better than basketball the last several years. Abbie Steiner and Sydney McLaughlin each got two gold medals at the world championship track meet. The University does not revolve around Cal.

That's where this feeble-minded little man's ego is hurt. It was different when he got here.
He's drowning in his failures. So he tries to push down the football team to lift himself.
Now he just made Stoops' job harder by increasing the negative recruiting against us.
I hope Mitch and the boosters tell him to pound sand on any upgrades.
