Kentucky, Arkansas, Mizzou or SCar?

Which of these FB programs has a higher "ceiling?"
Unlike the others, Arkansas had a long history of success for being in a small state before joining the SEC. They were the #2 program for most of their time in the SWC. AR doesn't produce many FBS caliber players, but they have a ton of resources and are nextdoor to Texas, which produces the most NFL players in the country. I'm inclined to go with them despite being in the tougher division.
Kentucky FB has actually had good fan support despite their history I believe. But they're in a basketball-centric state/region. The state doesn't produce much FB talent at all. Stoops has a good thing going there though
Missouri has some good recent history highlighted by back to back East titles. Not much before that apparently. However, they seem to give off a Big 10 West feel as a Midwestern school that doesn't aspire to be a FB power. Their state and its vicinity does seem to produce enough talent to sustain a contender though.
SCar- Really don't know much about them, but they didn't win a bowl game until 1995. Had a solid run with Spurrier from 2010-14, but no major bowl wins iirc. They are the "little brother" in a small state (historically and currently) and also next door to UGA. They've produced some great players like Sterling Sharpe, Jadeveon Clowney and George Rogers. Clemson's awesome run since 2014 can't help :0

Arkansas until proven otherwise
Although I don’t think any of them have a high ceiling

Being in the West puts us at a disadvantage from the other three.
Kentucky has the edge right now.
They have had patience with the coaching and it is paying off.

Dough don't mean crap without coaching and playing in the west.
Hopefully Sam will get us back to competitive.

Yep, love what Stoops is doing there. The 1990s would've been an ideal time for Ark. to do damage since the West was relatively weak from my memory. Apparently yall were already on the decline from winning the SWC in 1989 before joining the SEC. I'm sure you know more details there

Actually, Walmart gives very little to athletics. Most of their donations are on the academics side. We have plenty of money though from a couple of other large corporations.

I'm assuming that was supposed to say "and currently are also next door to UGA."
Which begs the question.. Is one of us considering moving?

I didn't know that Sam grew up a Hog fan.He seems to really appreciate being here and knows what SEC talent looks like.
I feel like we're in the best hands we've been in for a very long time.
Go Sam,And Go Hogs.

There’s just too much competition for recruits in the Blue Belt. I’m glad to see Coach Stoops canvassing the Midwest for 3 and 4 star players. The SEC and ACC have the South completely covered. The only competition in the Midwest is the B1G.

Clemson owns the series, but SC isn’t exactly “little brother” - they’re the tFlagship school - established 90 years before Clemson - and made Clemson travel to Columbia annually for the first 65 years of the series just because they could.
It’s actually one of the more fascinating in-state rivalries in all of CFB

Missouri! Missouri new head coach have been both South Carolina and North Carolina with lesser players.
Also Missouri defensive coaches are back from last year.
The offense was the weakest link. Missouri brought in an offensive head coach that runs a pretty good offense.

The BOT, not Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Illinois, etc, has been and will always be MU’s biggest rival. Tom Osborne and everyone else knew the potential the program had BUT them.

I agree. It is not a recruiting hotbed like south Florida but from the outside looking in, it seems like the region from Kansas to Missouri to Illinois produces enough talent to sustain a solid program. Especially now that y'all are in the SEC.

And Illinois is an even bigger disappointment. They should’ve been cleaning up Chicago from the get go. So far, Drinkwitz is doing well, but I fear the obstacles like many before him will be too much to overcome.
