Almost everyone has decided to come back (minus Bowden). The Cats will have a steam roller OL with at least two outstanding DBs. The DL will be one of the best and the rest of the D has another year of experience. Touchdown Terry should add some options on offense and we have a great recruiting class coming in. Let’s hear it for the Cats in Atlanta!

I admire you for getting in here early and beating Tennessee to the punch.

Well, no...but certainly could be improved. Any chance Gatewood plays?

Is this because BigBlueTitties says so, or is there another reason?

I would say beat South Carolina first, but you guys were actually consistently doing that before this last season. Still... you lost to South Carolina, and it honestly should've been a shutout.

Lost to South Carolina because our backup was playing with a torn shoulder and broken hand.

And scored once Bowden was put in. Put him in earlier and it's likely a closer game. Smith's shoulder was wrecked from the state game, so we could not pass and he could not run the way Bowden does. Was hopeless

They would have beaten USCe and Miss St. if (1) Terry doesn’t get hurt or (2) the coaching staff develops the Lynn Bowden gameplan sooner.

I think to take the next step in conference they need to have a balanced attack - which means a QB that can accurately deliver the football on a consistent basis.

I think it remains to be seen if they have that piece.

We should be 4-1 against the gators the past 5 seasons. That Florida and Tennerc monkey on our back haunts us every year. We can’t get out of our own way in those series. If it changes next year I like our chances.

Sep. 5 Eastern Michigan Eagles - Win

Sep. 12 at Florida Gators - ?

Sep. 19 Kent State Golden Flashes - Win

Sep. 26 South Carolina Gamecocks - ?

Oct. 3 at Auburn Tigers - ?

Oct. 10 Eastern Illinois Panthers - Win

Oct. 17 Vanderbilt Commodores - Win

Oct. 24 at Missouri Tigers - ?

Oct. 31 Bye

Nov. 7 at Tennessee Volunteers - ?

Nov. 14 Mississippi State Bulldogs - ?

Nov. 21 Georgia Bulldogs - ?

Nov. 28 at Louisville Cardinals - Win

I only see 5 auto wins for Kentucky next year, I don't think Mizzou is an auto win even though UK blasted them in 2019 because it is in CoMo.

Of the other 7 game I would guess them like this.

@UF - Loss
SC - Win
@Aub - Loss
@Miz - Win
@UT - Loss
MSU - Win
UGa - Loss

That is 8-4 with a 4-4 SEC record.

You are going to have to win 2 of these 4 games to have a shot at the East.

at Florida
at Auburn
at Tennessee
Georgia in Lexington

It can be done, but it will not be easy.

BigBlu pls

But seriously, the goal of UK should not be to win the East. UGA and UF won't let you. But UK CAN totally steal the thunder from the Vols by beating them and overshadowing their improvement.

Actually, this is certainly possible. Kentucky has a good coach and he is building something over there...

If Kentucky wins the East, it’s unclear who they would meet in Atlanta. LSU and Bama losing QBs. Maybe A & M or Auburn?
