Spot on. Dontae can shoot but don’t set a screen for him that’s cheating.
We can’t beat grandma off the dribble so you have to screen. But our coach can’t teach that.

We miss Kenny Payne. I now see that Payne ran the X's and O's. Cal's team is like AAU street ball.

I’ve seen pick up games with better ball movement. No pick and roll. No screens. No high post low post action. Then again Askew would Telegraph his pass before you set a screen.
Cal has always counted on his point guard being quicker than the other guy. Askew isn’t so Cal has no clue what to do.

Yeah, and Askew is the only one, and he is supposed to be in HS this year. Tough to break bad on him, but without anyone else, we are lost on offense. And our defense is poor at best.

I just listened to Cal’s meltdown on SEC Network. This may be the first team I’ve ever seen that the players actually refuse to be coached.
