Did you know Stoops is the only coach the past five seasons that has not seen his record regress from the previous season? He will have to pull off another miracle season to keep that streak going.
Kentucky has what looks like a decent defensive line with some experienced depth. They lose quite a bit in their defensive backfield though. Defense was their bread and butter last year, and does not look to be as strong which hurts because….
They lose a lot on offense including their beast of a RB Benny Snell. They weren’t that good on that side of the ball anyway and must have their young QB improve and others besides Bowden to step up and make plays in the passing game. They do have some decent looking RBs, but those shoes left behind are huge ones to fill.
Kentucky has upset 10 teams in the last three seasons. I’m not sure if there will be an upset among my list by game time, but maybe Tennessee would be favored. Any coach consistently getting UK to a bowl game is doing a pretty good job.

Maybe Arkansas is "the chosen one".

Didn't we do this thread already, like yesterday.

I said then, should be 9-10 wins, Georgia is the only assumed loss, but I'm sure they will trip up and lose at least 1-2 other games. More than that, and I'll be disappointed. Schedule is very manageable.

They are 127th out of 130 teams in returning defensive production. LINK

Kentucky has beaten Tennessee twice in the last 35 seasons, once in the past 7. I see them beating USCe instead of UT.

Our offense should be immensely better and more balanced. RBs will be as good if not better by committee. We have a Benny Snell clone that won’t have to play until the 4th quarter every game. The Dline is top 6 or 7 in the league. Terry should be wayyyy better if practice reports are any indication. The inexperienced secondary is really the only question mark. Oline will be top 3 in the league. Secondary is young but there’s a lot of talent back there. It just may take them a few games to get acclimated. With the schedule we should win 8 games minimum.

I’m not sure fielding the 6th best scoring defense in the country and riding a ground and pound offense en route to a 10-3 season can be called a miracle.

What starters are back on Kentucky's offense from last year? November '18 Kentucky Depth Chart

QB - Terry Wilson - Yes
RB - Benny Snell - Nope
WRx - Tavin Richardson - Nope (transferred out)
WRy - David Bouvier - Nope
WRf - Lynn Bowden - Yes
WRz - Dorian Baker - Nope
TE - C.J. Conrad - Nope
LT - E.J. Price - Nope (withdrew from team)
LG - Logan Stenberg - Yes
C - Drake Jackson - Yes
RG - Bunchy Stallings - Nope
RT - George Asafo-Adjei - Nope

Nevermind. Now I can see why the offense should be immensely better.

I'm putting out my own predictions for each team and my reasoning behind it. Feel free not to respond.
