Florida would be solidly above Arkansas on the S-Curve if this were to play out
I think 10-8 is the bar for UF, 11-7 for Arkansas
I don't expect either to happen

I dont see us making the NCAA Tournament. NIT most certainly though.

If State finishes 9-9 we'd most likely be a #7 seed. That would put us finishing 5-3 in the SEC with only one bad loss(USCe), a high SOS(most likely Top 15), and a NET in the mid to low 20's. Our conference schedule was stacked compared to some,so seedings for the NCAA Tourney isn't based on conference standings. If those projections play out we are higher seeded than both Bama, Ole Miss, and possibly Auburn.

I'd be pretty happy with a #7/8 seed this year, especially after the first 4 weeks. Our players and overall scheme has evolved and improved more in the last month than any period I can remember. We'll probably lose 5 straight to end the year or something, but as of now, I have no qualms.
And I'll go ahead and preemptively tell you - Wade has done a great job. I expected them to be more in the 21-9 (11-7) range. He's gelled that bunch together really well. They're fun to watch.

State is higher on the S-curve than Ole Miss and Bama right now despite the conference records imo

Yes, 21 looks like the magic number for Arkansas.

They don't really have any bad losses - their only semi-bad loss is on the road at South Carolina, and it's still a Top 100 NET road loss. They'd have to utterly collapse to be in trouble - and they still have @ UGA, vs USC, vs Missouri and vs A&M left.

How much of this is from losing your 5* point guard?

Garland is great but he probably wouldn't have transformed an otherwise 0-for team into a tourney contender

There's a pretty significant amount of drop off after Davis and Breein Tyree for Ole Miss... and that said, it's Tyree that belongs on the All-SEC team over Davis without question.

I’ll probably just keep talking shite and then y’all will go on a tear in the tournament.

I'm nervous about buying into this but at some point it gets old always being salty and pissy and this bunch has played good ball for 2 months outside of 12 miserable minutes against A&M and Georgia State.
Which means we'll lose to Vanderbilt at home or something.
