Data through games of Sunday, December 10

I expect lsu to move up this week win or lose(houston). State will finally step up in competition playing their first top 50 opponent of the year but their schedule is a joke. The best win so far is #97 jacksonville state and unless i'm mistaken they have 2 wins against top 150 opponents. Aggies play 3 games in 8 days. We will learn alot about kentucky coming up.

6 Texas A&M
14 Kentucky
21 Florida
23 Tennessee
29 Arkansas
39 Alabama
42 Auburn
52 Missouri
56 South Carolina
66 Mississippi St.
70 Georgia
76 Vanderbilt
78 Mississippi
86 LSU

I'm glad that we have you to remind this board about the basketball season, but this board is also too busy making off season flame threads already.

LSU is quietly having an unexpected season. JJ left the cupboards bare. The team is bad. But, Will Wade has them playing better than I think anyone expected.

We beat Michigan and a bunch of scrubs man. We’re playing well offensively (best 2 point % in the nation) and we shoot the 3 well. That said, our defense is ugly. Wade keeps harping on how bad it is.

LSU is a 5-7 win team this year. Hope everyone gets their punches in this year. Help is on the way with a top 10 class. Johnny Jones left the panty bare.

There’s very few “gimmes” on the SEC schedule this year.

We kind of just went through the motions against UNCW, they never really made it a game but we decided to not guard them at all late in the 2nd half and just watched them keep it within spitting distance. Long layoff from last game? Who knows...I d not expect to beat Houston this Wednesday though, not without Brandon Sampson. Apparently Jeremy Combs & Galen Alexander also cant go.

A&M should go into conference play 10-1 and ranked in the top 10. We have 2 more games left against savannah st and northern kentucky.

Our first game is @Bama which should be a good road test(although we've already had harder road tests) and then the battle for the SEC will be that next tuesday when we host Florida.

Waters was getting hacked badly in the lane and never got a single call when he penetrated seemed like, he was slow to adjust to the non-calls.

State has three top 150 wins, but I agree, ooc schedule has been atrocious. We'll learn a lot about our team tomorrow night.

Besides Michigan, which game has gone differently than anyone would have expected? LSU hasn't played a tough schedule outside of Maui.

Obviously beating bad teams is better than losing to them but I'm still not buying that this is a completely different LSU team. From what I've seen the defense is still absolutely terrible.

Unfortunately for the SEC, LSU looks like they are going to be trouble for some bubble teams and may end up being a bad loss that could kill their resume.

The defense was doing a little better when Sampson was around, he got hurt at the very beginning of the ND game in Maui and things unraveled quickly from there. The team is playing better defense than last year, but without Sampson it hasn't been noticeably better.

The good news is we have one of the best offenses out there right now. Taking much better shots and our offensive rating is 6th in the country. Last yea rour offensive rating was a putrid 217th in the country.

Defense has got to come around, too many lapses and Wade is starting to lose it with this guys because they arent giving the effort throughout a game. We get a big lead and they get complacent and watch other teams drain uncontested 3's. It's going to take time for them to come around defensively but Wade knows how to coach and he's pounding it into them. They practiced defense 85% of practice the last few off week+ he said.

Could the SEC be a 7-8 tourney team league?
