Oh look the ending to our traditional late season swoon is a "revenge" win over a bad team followed up by a loss to Kentucky

Here is how it will end.

Current Standings
UK (11-2)
Aub (9-4)
Fla (9-4)
LSU (9-4)
MSU (8-5)
SC (8-5)

Kentucky - vs UF, @ A&M, vs Aub, vs Tenn, @ UF
Finishes 4-1 - Fla nips them at home in the last game to solidify a Tourney spot.

Auburn - vs Tenn, vs Miss, @ UK, vs A&M, @ Tenn
Finishes 3-2 - Losing both road games.

Florida - @ UK, vs LSU, @ Tenn, @ UGa, vs UK
Finishes 3-2 - Losing at Rupp and @ TBA. (I know we can easily go 1-4 here)

LSU - @ SC, @ UF, vs A&M, @ Ark, vs UGa
Finishes 3-2 - I think they drop their first 2 road games and win out.

Miss State - @ A&M, vs Bama, @ Mizz, @ SC, vs Miss
Finishes 3-2 with only road win @ A&M

Carolina - vs LSU, vs UGa, @ Bama, vs MSU, @ Van
Finishes 4-1 - Dropping road game at Bama

Final Standings
UK 15-3
AU 12-6
UF 12-6
LSU 12-6
SC 12-6
MSU 11-7

As much of a spring tradition as Augusta or the Kentucky Derby.

Projected to split the season series 1-1 and they have the tiebreaker with a W over UK.

If we don't frick up our next few games, we'll get the double-bye. Florida will lose 2 possibly 3 of their last 5 games. Our hardest game is @ SC. If we take care of business, we're looking at the 4 seed.

It's true! In the last 13 seasons, Kentucky has ended Alabama's SEC tourney run 8 times, including the last 4 in a row! During that same time, Alabama has only beaten Kentucky 5 times total.

As a fan of both teams, just once, I'd like to see them on opposite sides of the bracket.

2019: Alabama beats Ole Miss and then loses to Kentucky
2018: Alabama beats A&M and Auburn before losing to Kentucky
2017: Alabama beats MSU and USC before losing to Kentucky
2016: Alabama beats Ole Miss and then loses to Kentucky
2011: Alabama beats UGA and then loses to Kentucky
2010: Alabama beats USC and then loses to Kentucky
2007: Alabama loses to Kentucky
2006: Alabama loses to Kentucky

Kentucky currently holds a 12 game winning streak over Alabama in the SEC tournament, dating all the way back to 1983.

Tennessee was favored by 10 three weeks ago
Missouri was favored by 11 four weeks ago
LSU should have lost in Reed
