haha Arkansas might have been real high on this list if it went back 2 years.

How far the mighty have fallen. When you look at where we used to be in basketball and compare it to where we are now...
Well hopefully the new coaching staff will turn things around. We've spent a long time wandering the desert.

yall were nothing more than a flash in the pan. I wouldn't set myself up for disappointment waiting to get back to that level

Why ‘97 and not ‘96?
Probably didnt start gathering data until '97 would be my guess...and this is starting with 1996-1997 season, so "since 97" is a little misleading

Now do Final Four appearances.

I know kenpom bases all this on his ratings, but this is just wrong:
10. Texas - 0 championships, 1 final four, 6 sweet 16s
19. Connecticut - 4 championships, 5 final fours, 9 sweet 16s
10. Texas - 0 championships, 1 final four, 6 sweet 16s
19. Connecticut - 4 championships, 5 final fours, 9 sweet 16s

Eh, '96 wouldn't have been much better

yea KenPom puts out a "program rank" and his data only goes back to the '96/'97 season. OP didnt have a choice as to what years to use.

We’ve come a long way to get to 70. I think we will continue to climb under Kermit.
Most of our all time relevant basketball achievements have come post 1997 so I’m glad they didn’t include anything else lol

Would have at least given you a Sweet 16 on there

649-244 from 1975 to 2002 with a 75% winning percentage.
May the Lord above smite with us a 27 year run like that again.
All time we have a 64% winning percentage since we started in 1924.
Our first coach was our football coach Francis Schmidt and we were awful, only winning 87% of our games and his last 4 seasons we lost 6 games total.
