Kelly’s play worked.
Jimbo’s play didn’t.
Both situations were similar. Coaches/teams who needed the play inside the 5 to get the win. One team executed while the other didn’t.

Bama with Young would have beaten the pretenders by 21+.

A&M has a lot of talent that they purchased. They’re not really a pushover, but Aggie seems to always fall a little short.

Could easily have 4 losses. They actually remind me of the early 2000s Texas teams before VY. Ranked in the top 5 at the start, all the great recruits, Chris Simms etc. but the defense could be soft and no real team identity. And a lot of entitlement in Texas’ case back then.
