Kelly makes a lot of sense (for everyone) and is a great hire for LSU

1. A proven winner (someone who can get you to 9-10 wins a season consistently each year - with an occasional run at a Natty every few years). I think fans have to realize it is about to get harder for SEC teams to reach 11 wins a season with harder non-conference foes that have to be added for SOS and expanded teams (and, starting soon, you can still get in the playoffs with 2 losses if you have quality wins and not-so-ugly losses).
2. Not a flashy guy. He is someone who can bring long-term stability to the program. The stink and vulgarity of Les and O has to be removed.
3. A decent recruiter who has already been recruiting nationally and can reach beyond Louisiana (basically how Alabama has been so successful)
4. The guy gets paid. I just read an article on how he is leaving his team and players. bullshite! If I had an offer doubling or tripling my salary - screw that - I’m gone. Same goes for anyone looking to improve their life.
5. LSU has at least a top 5 coach in the conference now - maybe top 3.

All the SEC Rant VGT's (Virgin Geek Trolls) are on fire and melting down rapidly.
They absolutely can't stand the BK hire and are fit to be tied because their supply of kindling to flame the fire is about exhausted now.

It is a good hire for LSU and possibly the best one possible. Now, does that guarantee the kind of success that LSU fans are expecting? No. Maybe they win a championship...maybe we're talking smack about the new LSU hire again in 4 years.
