Let's not suck his dick yet, Saban and Byrne deserve a ton of credit for ensuring this hire and transition was successful in the spring and creating a very stable situation for him to inherit and DeBoer deserves credit for getting solid transfers to replace those who left and convincing players like Proctor, etc. to stay. If he sustains this momentum Year 1, good on him.

Good thing recruiting hasn't skipped a beat. Good thing four of the top playmakers from the UGA game were Deboer's players. Good thing he proved he could beat a team (Texas) with Washington's roster that Saban couldn't beat with this one.
