That's why I think CFB should officially become a semi-pro league. Let's make all those Dodge Chargers, rent free houses and other stuff OFFICIAL.

Let these guys get paid outta HS. Of course, they won't be millionaires, but let them make a nice livable salary. However, in exchange they are under contract to actually play unless injured. And this is irrespective of what their NFL draft stock is.

If there's one thing I hate it is living a lie. CFB has been living a lie for as long as I've been alive (and likely long before that). CFB is not truly amateur, at least at most places, and never has been.

Exactly and unfortunately it's getting worse and more pervasive.

Hutson Mason (UGA QB '14) was talking about his rookie camp with the Redskins and a film room session Sean McVay was having with the QB's and receivers.
McVay had just showed 'em a play designed for the TE.After showing the play he asked one of veteran TE's in the room what his responsibilities were on that play.

His response:"Why the f**k would you ask me that question when you Knew I wasn't paying attention"
