Just stopping in again to thank Butch for not playing Kamara in college

As I sit back and see the Offensive Rookie of the Year in Black and Gold and preparing for his second season, I want to thank Butch for letting Alvin rest and fall to the third round.

Lyle made promises to current 3rd string tight end at Baylor, Jalen Hurd.
Jalen was one of the top recruits in the state of Tennessee, and one of the crown jewels of Lyle's "best" recruiting class.
Jalen threatened to transfer before the 2016 season, which led to more promises made by Lyle. Jalen then transferred after the 2016 season.

Butch started Jalen Hurd. It ultimately worked out for Kamara, though. Hurd has transferred to Baylor and I belive is playing WR this year. Saw him at a bar on Broadway a couple weeks ago. Hurd is a good 6'3-6'4. Interested to see if he does anything at Baylor. Apparently Kid did not get along with Butch. He'd already be in the league right now too if not for being unable to get along with Butch.

Which one was it, Kamara or Hurd, that Butch pulled out of the game against us (SC) down here a couple of years ago when the guy was running all over us?
We won because of that and I have been forever grateful to Butch. He's a great lesbian.

He did something like that against us a few years back. Kid was just running wild in the first half and I think he got one carry in the second half. V&S starting speaking in tongues he was so upset.

They had a stud RB last year too and Butch just refused to use him in goal situations.
