I know he signed a new deal with ESPN.

Will he still have a radio show?

Will it be caller driven (like his old show) or more like a Colin cowherd type show?

if it isn't caller driven it might actually be good for ESPN

how do people listen to caller driven shows? pretty much any show where they go to a caller is my cue to change the station.

ESPN wont be ready for Finebaum if it is caller driven.

Not sure how they do it, but I would think he's got to change it up some. Although I doubt we get on the radio in NOLA. ESPN radio here already has the food show with Tom Fitzmorris from I think 3-6

Same for me.

I understand why local shows do it, but damn it's hard to listen to.

Unfortunately I did too, and he still sucks just as bad.

ESPN guy was asking him about the bama/atm game. Fbaum said something like, paraphrasing, "Lots of people think this could be the game of the year in the country next year. There are a lot of atm fans and other people who think atm might beat bama again for the second time in a row. Well I can tell you now that they won't! Not gonna happen"

Aren't espn people supposed to be unbiased?

I thought I read I read in the article posted the other day that would take his normal 2-6 timeslot and be on radio in Birmingham.
And yes Cowherd sucks. I refuse to listen to that troll.

The guy was asked for his opinion, and he gave it. Besides, saying Bama is gonna beat A&M ain't exactly a stretch.

i hope its not a call in show bc if that happens even though finebaum may turn out to be a great pick, the callers will ruin it

I had only heard his show once when driving through Birmingham, so it wasn't even all that long. I had to switch back to the NOLA station before even making it to Gadsden

They're both master trolls. I can't deceide whether the fact that Finebaum has been doing it for twenty years with only two fanbases makes him a better or worse troll.

He will have a national radio show that will be simulcast on the SEC network... Think Mike and Mike in the morning on ESPN.

If you've ever listed to finebaum, he thinks bama is the greatest thing ever in the history of the earth, and he will predict them to win every game he's ever asked his opinion on. There is no point to even ask his opinion when it comes to bama games.

You're right, and if he still had his Springer-esque radio show in birmingham it'd be no problem. But he's in the big time now on ESPN and should have at least SOME semblance of impartiality. Saying "it should be a great game but I think bama will likely have the edge" is different than "they're not! Not gonna happen!"
