I know having a national media organization write those words has to hurt but real friends tell you the truth! Please read and let us know your thought Barners!

There’s a difference between a program having a better team and a program being a better job.

Auburn is not a better job than Ole Miss in the slightest. Ole Miss doesn't have boosters trying to control Kiffin and the salary is the same.

Ole Miss expects them to beat Mississippi State. Auburn complains when their HC has beaten Saban more than any other coach.

It's not even close.

The very next line of that article...
quote:

Ole Miss is a better job because Kiffin has made it that way

Ole Miss needs Kiffin a lot more than he needs them, and any person with a head knows AU's ceiling is higher than Ole Miss's. What a ridiculous thread.

Not sure what you are talking about. Stay on topic though…..what are your thoughts on what the journalist said comparing Ole Miss to Auburn?

Hmmmm, somebody doesn’t agree with you…..not sure who!

Why is it only people residing in Alabama are saying this…..I wonder why only they see it that way?

In 30 years 2010 will surpass UGAs 1980.

Keep holding onto it. The boosters will ensure of that. This past Saturday is a changing of the guard of Auburn and Tennessee switching places.

And those are just the fans who still act like they care during a losing season. Most of them pretend not to care about Auburn football at all during a season like this one. They'll act like they didn't even know Auburn was playing.

The interesting question is if the Auburn job is so great. Why was Auburn only able to get Bryan Harsin last cycle while Ole Miss was able to get Lane Kiffin?

So Auburn is bottom of the barrel suck arse but the superstar coach that knows how to recruit and is a coaching God was in a dogfight at home all day with the worst AU team in at least 10 years and needed an onsides kick to provide any distance???

It wasn’t much of a dogfight. Not sure about you but never felt like the game was in doubt. When we went up 21 to 0 I knew how it was a win.

The answer is schools no longer need a good ole boy "Keep it down home, cuz" system like Auburn has always relied on to be relevant. The days of big time boosters like Jimmy Rane and Milton McGregor buying players are gone now. Everyone can do this openly now. It takes away the Auburn advantage.
