Threw a pass so bad he got flagged for intentional grounding and he wasn’t even trying to throw it away...

Alabama somehow beat Southern Miss this day 17-3 in one of the ugliest games I've ever seen.

Avalos's hand wasn't even big enough to hold a football.

Bless his heart.

He ran the option offense in high school. I probably saw him play 20 times. He signed to play in Fran's offense as a three star QB.
He did go through the worst season in modern Alabama football but he had no business being anywhere near an SEC/power 5 program. I remember how defeated it felt in Athens that year when we lost Croyle, lost Pennington and had to watch Avalos running around on the sideline looking for his helmet. Not many points lower than that as an Alabama fan over the last 15-20 years.

Was a great time in Athens, it was the most points ever scored in a half against Alabama ever. Thomas Davis and Pollack ran amok. I believe that was one of the first fake stories about our fans as well, I recall a buddy of mine saying he witnessed a baby in a stroller get pushed over before the game.

There was this one QB who - get this - fumbled the goddamned ball in the red zone without a finger laid on him.
Don't remember his name, though.

You wish you could rock that hat like him. Look at that beautiful trophy. Ha ha ha.

You can lie to yourself. Nothing beats a fine cowboy hat.
