That 2020 "doesn't count" isn't exactly a hot take from "Quit U" and "Asterisk U"

Sounds like 2011 hurt some worse than others.

There were some positives in that game.

Crossed the 50 twice (ok, the 2nd time was going backwards but it counts)

Bama couldn’t score a TD till the 4th quarter. Great job by the defense the whole game.

Just out of curiosity, when was the last time a team played 7 games and played in a national championship?

Were films still silent?

I know the last time a team went 13-0 and got a "championship" Osama Bin Laden wasn't a household name yet.

You can tell just how threatened they are by that squad. 2019 is their identity as 6-6 through 9-3 is now their present and foreseeable future

B: Bama fans will fight to the end of time that 2020 was a normal year even though teams didn’t get to practice and the ones returning coaches and players had a monumental advantage.

So this was not an obstacle everyone had to face? Alabama won, they deserved to win. Deal with it and move on. This line of whining makes a fanbase look pathetic.

Hey, I'm good with it. LSU has the last title in a year that wasn't touched by multiple canceled games.

Basically, the last title that really matters.

Hey, I mean, I get it. Gumps really want that 2020 team to feel legitimate.

As an LSU fan, I totally get it. 1908 LSU was one of the most dominant teams of all time, and LSU has every right to claim an NC for it. We don't, because, well.......several of LSU's opponents only played 7 games.

Proof that UT fans don’t understand sports. But neither do your coaches or leadership and that’s why you NEVER WIN! Hahahaaaaaa

How would we ever know? Any objective person would conclude 2020 was a fake season.

Has there ever been a school that has been absolutely dominated by another that continues to try and compare themselves to the dominant school like JeaLSU does with Bama? They aren’t in the same stratosphere but have convinced themselves they are equals. Such delusion!!

Well considering 2019 LSU utterly destroyed 2020 Alabama with a better QB and two more elite receivers in Shitscaloosa, I’d say it’s pretty easy to know. Cousinfrickers don’t want to acknowledge that though.

2020
13–0 (10–0 SEC)

Covid year. Congrats.

Some interesting coach/player notes from all the games that the SEC has been in the CFP

Most points (winning team) 52 Nick Saban Alabama

Passing yards 464 Nick Saban Alabama

Total yards 628 Ed Orgeron LSU

First downs 33 Nick Saban

Fewest rushing yards allowed 30 Kirby Smart Georgia

Fewest total yards allowed 341 Nick Saban Alabama

Total offense 521 Joe Burrow

Passing yards 464 Mac Jones

Passing TDs 5 Joe Burrow LSU
Mac Jones

Receptions 12 DeVonta Smith

Receiving yards 221 Ja'Marr Chase

Receiving TDs 3 DeVonta Smith

Total TDs 6 Joe Burrow

Field goals 4 Will Reichard Alabama

The last one cracks me up because for so long, Bama couldn't buy a kicker, yet they have the record for most FG's in the CFP.

Nice job SEC

Imagine taking on a team that only played 7 games and werent beat up from the grind of a season and then beating the absolute shite out of them after playing 5 more games than them.
