Why do fans from other conferences say one hit wonder for LSU after playing in 4 national championships and winning 3?
With three different coaches.
Am I missing a joke here.
Also got folks talking about bama carrying the conference when we win the ship as a conference with teams other then bama. 3 different teams won one and Georgia been right their with them.

I think they are saying LSU is a one hit wonder in regards to LSU under Ed Orgeron, and they’re right.

Every fanbase in the SEC is saying the same thing too on here. They're saying that Ed Orgeron is a one hit wonder and not necessarily LSU.

I would say it's all twitter but it happens other places. I'm just curious how those takes are made.
Idk,frick it,shouldnt even have brought it up ,but eventually it gets old. I think twitter is the place the sec hate is cultivated.

LSU went 5-5 the season after winning an NC. Ohio State, Clemson, and Alabama havent seen that kind of drop off after winning a championship.
Let's see if Orgeron can even win 10 games again.

He won 9 games in his first year, 10 in his second and 15 in his 3rd. So far, the 5 win season is the anomaly.
The new coordinators will make or break him this season.

But they say its bama only ,that's absurd.

Think Gene Chizek. Think Larry Coker.

You can't let these people get you that upset, brother. Sports fans like to talk shite and shite on others that have success. Just let the next season play out and judge it on your own. If the man can't win 10 games with this set up then he isn't the guy for long term success at LSU.

Idk. I think the guys done a good job,do you think any other coach does better with pelini and the young players and opt outs. I know o hired him but the way he finished the year shows players dont give up under him if nothing else

LSU is a threat to win it all whenever they have excellent qb play. It just doesn’t happen very often.

I'm not upset I was just having a hard time understanding the argument .. I'm not just talking LSU. It's just straight stupidity hate on the sec I guess. I'm not talking bout over here

LSU had no business losing to first year coaches that were rebuilding at Mississippi State and Missouri. The other losses you can probably point to opt outs and the Brennan injury maybe. But, those first two losses were absolutely horrible with the amount of talent we had.

This year was the first year he didn’t have Miles’ coordinators and mostly Miles’ players.

I believe the qb play last year was good considering the experience they had

I would say the same was certainly true of Les Miles. But unlike the now HC, Miles refused to lose to OOC teams on the schedule in the 12 years he was there.
