When he put there QB back in the game after taking that shot to the chin. The kid looked lost, no protocol there all about winning

King and Johnson are both injured. Their next option is likely a walk on. Weigman was definitely concussed though. His accuracy went to shite after that hit.

That would be in the "for cause" department. Aggy not smart enough to figure out that one...

If y'all get Jimbo fired for cause and bail A&M out of that ridiculous contract, I will never forgive you.

Agreed as long as Big Cat has the big bucks to pay his buyout.

This is Aggy. They will keep on doubling down. Jimbo will be 800 pounds in a diabetic super coma and still will be their messiah.

You trying to save Aggie $90M?

Hmmm…. Time for a little creativity?

A rare double. There are lots of Rhodes Scholars populating the Rant who apparently don't know or care how foolish they look. This is just basic elementary school English.

What did Mike Tyson say about getting hit in the mouth?

Specifically, the chin?

There was a lengthy review on the play, and nobody on the A&M sideline even came to check the kid's condition. In fact, it appeared that Jimbo yelled at him to get him to huddle up before play resumed.

Of course the QB played from then on as if he was nursing a concussion.

The motormouth coach doesn't care. He's quick to blame everything and everyone but himself.

You missed the comma that he didn’t include. I think he meant.
“No protocol there, all about winning.”
I think he meant that he, the poster, is not saying the QB should have been kept out due to protocol, but that he should have been kept out to give Aggie the best chance at victory.

That’s ridiculous.

I love how folks, who have never even read a contract, will come on here and sea-lawyer. “For cause” is almost certainly defined in the contract. Sometimes that definition includes vague things like “Conduct that reflects poorly…”, but only weak bargainers sign up for those. A guy with Jimbo’s (then) strong hand, and great legal representation, would not have agreed to any of those expansive definitions. He’d pretty much have to rape a nun.
