Thank you to the NCAA for granting me immediate eligibility and allowing me to play football this fall. I will not comment on the waiver or transfer, but look forward to a great 2020 season with my teammates.

Got 2 playable QBs now in case one goes in quarantine. Chess, not checkers

The NCAA returned the favor for Justin Fields, only difference is Fields is a likely Top15 draft pick and Daniels is lucky if he's drafted at all

If I had to design a perfect scenario, it'd be Newman getting the ball this year and doing well, having Daniels do the same in 2021 with Brock learning, then have Brock take over in 22.

However I'm now constantly leery of having 2 high caliber QBs on the roster at the same time so who knows

Daniels is very talented. He's only played one year. Believe it or not, players can improve

I'm very curious as to how this was granted. USC was not placed on sanctions, he and his family are from California so it is not a family need, he is not escaping covid by going to Georgia, he didn't experience racism at USC? I can't think of a more clearcut case where the only reason for the transfer is loss of starting position.

Do you know anything at all about the guy? He played one year for a shite team then got injured. His career so far almost exactly mirrors easons at the same juncture. There is no telling how high his ceiling is.

Would imagine every transfer will be granted immediate eligibility in this current climate

Lol not shocked. If anyone ever qualified for having to sit out it was this guy. But UGA. So...the NCAA sucks.

I don't even care at this point. The NCAA is so inconsistent about granting immediate eligibility after transfer that I encourage the clown show to keep on rollin'.

Missing last season with an injury may have been a consideration, along with the NCAA probably wanting to be more publicly player friendly overall.

NCAA eligibility waiver process makes absolutely zero sense.

Do you really expect Kirby to make the right decision on who his starter should be?

Welp, he was beat out by a 3 star....so there's that.

FTR, I know he was injured but he wasn't taking the starting job at USC.

Waiting on Peejay to claim racism because of the other Georgia transfer qb.
