I guess I’ll first mention the ticket prices charged to the away team fans. Now I am not positive, but I am pretty damn sure Auburn charges away team fans more than double, what it charges its' fans, for the same tickets. For example, my tickets purchased through the UGA athletic department, which they received from Auburn, was $120 face value. I’d bet good money those tickets were $45-$60 face value for Auburn fans. Once again, I am not positive, but I am pretty sure that Georgia, and any other respectable athletic program in the SEC, do not follow this procedure. I guess they need the extra money for the recruits….

Last, they steal our coaches! Pat Dye played at Georgia before he lost his mind and coached at Auburn. And Rodney Gardner coached at UGA for years before jumping ship back to Auburn.

How much does he want to wager???? Auburn does not charge a premium to away fans... I think UGA might.

How in the frick do you find a wix site in the first place? I feel like someone had to be actively seeking this out. He can't have more than 12 page views on most posts... 7 of which were him refreshing hoping for comments.

Melt of the Year
Although he's not completely correct here, you consider that "melt of the year"? Its grammatically correct, lacks the big time curse words, and is void of exclamation points.
Try harder plz.

The ticket stuff was to be expected, considering Auburn’s track record, but what happened in the 4th quarter Saturday night even exceeded what I thought Auburn was capable of. First, Auburn’s defensive players, in an exemplary display of sportsmanship, started dancing on the field before Georgia’s offense snapped the ball with about 6 minutes to go in the game (A little disrespectful). Then Malzahn challenged a 3rd down spot with 3:38 to go in the game and Auburn up 30 points (complete disrespect). Auburn then proceeded to play soulja boy across the stadium speakers, during one timeout, to troll Georgia, who played it back during the 2007 blackout game. Then Auburn threw a pass with 1:25 left in the game, while up 23 points (A complete slap in the face). And then Malzahan concluded this classless display by turning to reporters, on the field after the game, and saying, “We whipped the dog-crap out of them, didn’t we?” Hey Gus – You familiar with the concept for sportsmanship? You should try it sometime. Ever heard of the old saying, “Act like you’ve been there?” I guess that’s kinda tough when you only beat a team 3 out of the past 12 years.

If you mean "only" to UGA fans you are right. But you're copmletely wrong if you don't think AU (not just AU mind you, pretty much all big time schools these days) way upcharges the visitors than they do their own fans. Unless your own AU fans have $120 face value tickets, which they do not.
I remember in 2009 when we went to stillwater our tickets were $100 face value (obviously more than what OSU fans pay) and their fans said they had some "premium" games each year that they did this. Over time I've seen it at tech, au, UT, and many other schools. And for full transparency, we do the same in return. Whatever you're gonna pay face from the AU AA next year is certainly going to be more than what's on the face of UGa season ticket holders tix.

Seems oddly specific...
Hey there, HarMar.

My tickets were absolutely face value $120.
Why else would I laughing at that? C'mon dude.
ETA: Mine in the lower bowl were $120. My buddy had one in the upper deck that was $120.

So many Georgia fans were more than happy trading out Garner. Oh well.

derp... can confirm... do not have the patience or commitment to run a blog. I barely keep up with consistent commenting on this shitfest of a board.

Why even comment about something you have no clue about? That was absolutely the face value of the tickets.

You wrong bro. UGA and Bama tickets are $120 face for all.

I went to this game and had an Auburn section ticket. Face value on it was absolutely $120. Additionally, the person I got that ticket from certainly paid a hell of a lot more for it than $120 when you consider the "donations" they make just for the right to buy their season tickets.
You are just completely off base here.

I know some schools have different prices depending on the section (Tennessee does for sure). Not sure about UGA.

Bigger games may have more expensive face value prices, but the prices are not different for visiting fans than they are home fans. Home fans pay the same increased prices. And GTFO with season ticket holders paying less when it comes to anything. They pay thousands of dollars a year just to have the opportunity to pay for their tickets.
