UCF or Indiana (Ole Miss jr. at this point) are the likely landing places. Both have told him that he can play QB.

Solid depth piece who probably started about 1/4 last season and was probably in line for similar PT this year. Thought he overachieved considering he didn't have fall ball.

I couldn't figure out why Lane didn't at least try to run some wildcat type stuff with him against Baylor.

Depends on his goals. If he wants to make the NFL, it will be as a WR/S and playing WR in a Lane Kiffin offense is a good thing. If he wants to play QB in college, then yes.

To what end? Even with the threat of the pass with Altmyer, Ole Miss OL got absolutely no push against the Baylor front. Put Plumlee out there and they barely have to worry about covering someone.

I have always pulled for the young man from the time he was committed to the Dawgs and even after he flipped.

I hope he does well wherever he goes.

Was this why he didn’t play in the bowl game?

Or did he decide to transfer because he didn’t play?

How much was he seeing the field with baseball, I always thought that was the bigger upside for him?

Kirby likes mediocre QB's who can run (/s). He was originally committed to UGA before Kirby told him he couldn't be a two-sport athlete (baseball) and a QB at the same time. UGA could be losing 3 QB's on Jan 11 with only one true freshman coming in this signing class.

He has been rumored to transfer for a couple of months now. He just didn't break the WR rotation much this year, even when we had a ton of injuries. He wasn't able to go through spring ball at wideout because of baseball and he just didn't pick it up enough in time.

UGA was going to move him to defense. That had more to do with it than baseball.
