54 points at home to LSU - 324 pass 298 rush
33 points vs. Kansas State
45 points @ UCLA - 491 passing yards

44 PPG allowed.

Is Chavis ironically going to be the downfall of Kevin Sumlin? I think he actually made them worse.

Kevin Sumlin is the downfall of Kevin Sumlin. He's run out of coordinators and players to blame.

Prevent and a hurry up offense will leave your D on the field entirely too much. Plus aTm isn't getting the talent on D that LSU was. Chavis probably got lazy too.

He was a good fit at LSU. Glad aTm hired him when they did, though. Don't even care if LSU gets their money back. Watching the aTm meltdown is payment enough.

I've been lol'ing at anyone believing in John Chavis since October 20, 2007.

Chavis made Major Applewhite and John Parker Wilson look like Don Coryell and Dan Fouts.

DJ Hall just caught another pass.

I mean, to be fair, I knew Chavis' weaknesses were going to be exposed, but I thought Chavis would at least give a half shite at A&M. I was spot on about the former and dead wrong about the latter because he clearly does not give a frick.

I mean what the frick is he doing. He wouldn't even jam the tight end at the LOS after it was clear to the entire stadium who Rosen was throwing to.

Makes me throw up. I had chest pains up until yesterday from watching the game

A lot of LSU fans predicted this actually. Sumlin's Air raid offense gives the players little rest. At LSU, Les was all about ball control and eating up the clock

exactly. chavis didn't realize it at the time but, Les and that offense was protecting the defense.

I just suggested to one of my Aggy buddies that they should at least let go of Chavis. And he said "no way, he's a good coach. Maybe they fire Sumlin and promote Chavis to Interim HC"

And he's a smart guy
And he's being completely serious.

I could actually see that happening this year. Not saying it would be a good thing, but it is possible.

Chavis is gone at the end of this year regardless of what happens to Sumlin.

Can't dispute those numbers.

But Chavis isn't responsible for snapping the ball with too much time on the clock.

Frick, had we run the ball and wound the clock down, it was mathematically impossible for UCLA to win. That's not on Chavis.
