Joe was asked by a reporter if the Auburn atmosphere matched the atmosphere that he saw at Penn State. Joe said no, this is way better here, I could barely hear myself think out there. I thought that was pretty cool.

Not SEC. No atmosphere.
That goes for the entire NCAA.

Yeah, it’s definitely different down here. Penn State’s white out atmosphere is no match for a sec atmosphere.

Jordan Hare is highly under rated as far as being a very tough venue to play for the visiting team.

I went to a LSU vs Auburn game at Jordan hare a long time ago during the Tommy tubbaware era. It was amazing! Great atmosphere, even though we lost that game.

Well he’s dead wrong. PSU is hands down the best atmosphere in all of football, especially at night and in a White Out. But since he rode the bench that game and saw OSU go down, he probably was checked out.

Auburn and Tuscaloosa away games are the only games that ever truly strike fear into my heart as an LSU fans. And Auburn vs LSU has had some dogfights over the years. Both in Baton Rouge and in Auburn.

I know it’s hard for you to envision life outside of the South since you’ve probably never been North of the Mason Dixon Line, but it does exist. And I’ve been to Penn State games and they’re the best I’ve ever seen.
