Said about his current roster. There are better ways to say this if you know both you and the players in question will be at A&M in the future, like: “I’m looking forward to coaching great teams as they gain experience.”
But he didn’t say that.

He always makes statements like that. You’re reading too much into that. How many coaches express it the way you stated?
