Talk about putting all the eggs in one basket. Jimbo had one game circled all year, obviously the first 5 didn't matter. It will be interesting to see how the season plays out now.

Do you think replacing your QB and most of your OL with freshman, your team will just automatically play like a seasoned team!!

It took awhile to get the offense on track. It wasn’t just King. We’ve had like 6 offensive started missing multiple games. Still missing several of them, but the young guys are improving.

This was quite literally the 8TH different OL combination this season.

1. Kent State + Colorado: Johnson, Ogunbiyi, Foster, Robinson, Green

2. First Half New Mexico: Johnson, Ogunbiyi, Foster, Green, Trainor

3. Second Half New Mexico: Fatheree, Ogunbiyi, Foster, Green, Trainor

4. First Half Arkansas: Johnson, Ogunbiyi, Foster, Green, Fatheree

5. Second Half Arkansas: Green, Ogunbiyi, Foster, Trainor, Fatheree

6. Mississippi State: Johnson, Green, Foster, Robinson, Fatheree

7. Alabama: Green, Trainor, Foster, Robinson, Fatheree

Calzada finally settled down and played loose.

Layden Robinson on the oline had been out injured but returned to starting lineup last night. Allowed us to reshuffle the olinemen back to their more natural positions. Made a huge difference.

Was Robinson back for MSU? Honest question. I wasn't able to watch much of MSU game.

He was facing DC's not nicknamed "Folding" or "Fool's Gold" all the other weeks.

Alabama lost that game more than TAM won it. If Alabama runs it once or twice when 1st and goal from the 4–they win. If they rush it 10 more times in general, they win. CNS having a long talk with BOB today. Book it. Will much more of #4 going forward.

Calzada last night was the best QB play we've seen all season, by far. If he keeps it up, King probably won't get his job back.

If Calzada goes back to Arky/MSU form. King will be back at QB1 as soon as he's able.

Watching the game unfold it just appeared to me that Bama would come back near the end.

Bama had to settle because they go too cute in play calling. Young doesn’t seem to want to run which is a missing piece in the O.

aTm beat them but they had every opportunity to win easily and didn’t execute

Believe me, we have all been asking ourselves the same thing in between sheep sessions.

I can understand the slow progress with the starting QB and 2 OLs going down, and we are pretty encouraged by the transition Calzada made from deer-in-the-headlights to the unshakable poise we saw last night.

I hope this is the path of the team going forward, but something tells me this is just a flash in the pan and Alabama has been a little down this season.
