Second only to Saban, with only one NC? Dabo has 2 NC to his credit, and was runnerup twice.

Just out of curiosity, how many coaches do you think are better than Jimbo in CFB, much less are available? 3? 5? So all this is about A&M potentially overpaying by a few bucks when money is essentially no object for A&M?
If you want to know why Fisher is being paid it's because A&M can't afford to lose him because it would be extremely difficult to replace him with anyone of his caliber. A&M isn't mortgaging anything, our AD is making tens of millions in profit. We have a coach we like, pay the man.
As a fan all I care about is having the best chance of winning.

A&M made about $40 million in profit last year and that number is likely to continue to grow. Not sure how you think paying a few extra mill for a Top 5 Coach is going to bankrupt us. Thanks for the concern I guess?

How bout giving him a step raise first? Like should he ever win an SEC WEST title or SEC conference title? Why make him the 2nd highest paid coach when he hasnt accomplished shite in the SEC yet.

I don't know. But every team in the SEC has shite tons of money and it's going to go up big time when the ESPN deal kicks in. I don't understand why aggy boasts about spending or why other fans even care.
